Pendomonium

Pendo’s annual product festival is the largest revenue driver of the year and brings together people from over 26 countries for three days of content, product talk, and a lot of pink.

During the event

I was a go-to content and event lead throughout the conference, managing the run of show, coordinating with speakers, emcees, event staff, and attendees, and troubleshooting the inevitable last-minute details.

I also handled musical talent—which meant I got to meet OK Go. Not a bad day at the office.

Before the event:

I helped shape Pendomonium's content from the ground up—sourcing and organizing session content, coaching speakers, grouping sessions into themes, and building the event agenda. I also produced multiple pre-event videos, including one with our CEO about the founding of Pendomonium.

I co-led the Customer Awards program, managing submissions, building the judging process and review guide, and coordinating award winners.

For Day 0, I led the reimagining of the experience, developing a stronger mix of workshops and additional sessions to give attendees more value before the main event began.

By the numbers

  • 2,963 registrations
  • 530 accounts represented
  • 20 accounts brought 10+ attendees (vs. 7 in prior year)
  • Day 0 attendance up 250% YoY;
  •  200+ G2 reviews
  • Pipeline sourced: $5.7M (in-person + virtual); $20.1M influenced (200% to goal)

After the event

The work continued after the last session. I helped organize and publish session content and keynote videos, produced the main event video, and coordinated post-event social content to extend the life of the conference beyond the event itself.

Then I took a very big nap.
